What’s been happening in our classroom?
We have been SO busy. Our topic this term is Celebrations. We have learnt about Firework Night, Remembrance Day. We are very proud that our Remembrance display is on the newsletter. Here is just a snapshot of our creative learning.
We are also planning an exciting filmed ‘Covid safe’ performance of The Christmas story. Quite a challenge I can assure you!! We will keep you posted on this exciting event.
Our learning includes learning to orally tell the traditional tale of Three Little pigs. If you could share this story at home too this will really help us.
The children have all worked hard with their phonics that we are moving on to Phase 3. Mrs Parr and I are very proud of you all. In Maths we are beginning to learn adding and subtracting in addition to developing our number skills.
Our bubble has been lucky as now we can use the hall for our lunches. The children have all enjoyed this shared experience.
We have continued to ensure we keep safe buy listening to all the rules, staying in our bubble and washing hands to keep you safe. Well done everyone!
Our PE days are Monday and Tuesday. You should come in your PE kit on those days. Miss Wildman is our PE teacher and I know she’s got some amazing Dance and activities planned for you.
Our school values are kindness, respect and dignity. We continue to enjoy giving out lots of dojos following our class rules, working hard, listening well, sharing and being kind. I am sure the children will come home and tell you all about it.
